Not having had an original Triangle Kush from Jungleboys before, I was looking forward to trying out this classic strain; responsible for a lot of greats we now have today. Boasting a total sum of cannabinoids at a modest 32.96%.

Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an old school OG Kush aroma, displaying a piney and earthy gas with notes of chemicals and sandalwood, infused with menthol, eucalyptus, rubber and an extremely subdued citrus. The buds were of a medium density, having a typical Jungleboys and OG structure.

They were a shade of light green, with messy dark rustic pistils, and absolutely doused in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a familiar infusion of piney, earthy and chemical notes with light rubber traits. The taste of this mild gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.

The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light grey, alongside an oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked relatively smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, I found Jungleboy’s Triangle Kush to be overall pretty average, whilst ticking most boxes and smoking adequately well, it delivered milder notes than expected, and was nothing overly memorable. With some further dialling in required, hopefully the classic TK can retain a place on the JB’s lineup.
