From thoroughly enjoying the recent releases of Archive Seeds from the collaboration between Kush 4 Breakfast and Johnny Dankco, I was interested to see how their Moonbow fared. Upon opening I received a light essence of an earthy gas with nutty and greasy traits, accompanied by an extremely subdued creamy sweetness, displaying notes of peanuts, chemicals and greasy caramelised onions, infused with subdued notes of cherries, cream and menthol. The buds were of a medium to hard density, having a hybrid and Zkittles influenced structure.
They were a shade of light green with sporadic attractive pink and purple guts, alongside long rustic pistils and coated in a universe of trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a mildly earthy gas lightly infused with faint notes of peanuts alongside subtle undertones of greasy onions, cream, cherries and menthol.
The taste of this mild nutty gas was retained on my taste buds upon exhaling. The joint produced immaculate fluffy ash being a shade of almost white to very light silver, alongside an instantaneous dripping and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, although I undoubtedly found Moonbow to deliver a pleasantly smooth, clean and potent smoke, unfortunately the overall taste was fairly diluted in comparison to its tasty counterparts, resulting in it being fairly unmemorable. With some further dialling in required, Moonbow will be a great choice for enthusiasts of Do-si-dos dominant profiles.
