La Menta Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
Dropped by Litty in the City pt 2 and once you made it past the line at the secured door and the line up the stairs, one of the biggest lines was for the Deep East booth. He had four cultivars in mylar bags and while I did gravitate towards the flashy Five Seven bag, I ended up giving every bag a whiff and read the listed genetics, and decided on dropping $50 on an eighth of La Menta.
I walked through the entire event and looked at just about every jar/bag of flower. La Menta was hands down the most genetically diverse specimen in the entire building – besides some of the terp selections that I had brought in on my back.
First off, the Newport green on the La Menta sticker really triggered the old menthol smoker in me.
The flower itself wasn’t the best I’ve ever smoked, but hey it’s a tester. I also tried some Rainbow Z and I liked this a lot more – and it felt like it had less chemthesis in the last half of the rollie.
When you grind up the tight nugs, the floral notes explode. Like a non fruity Biskante.
Starts off musty and the mint is but the butt end of the spear at the end. Earth and floral notes throughout.
The high is noticably longer lasting than others and is a great mix of mental energy and body lock. Stuck in your thoughts.
Kinda hype to see what comes of La Menta… which may be “The Menthol” for the new generation.
This ain’t no Kush Mintz or Gush Mintz, it’s La Menta and the high goes straight a la mente.
